In preparation for Ms. Shannon's class going on their trip to the National Gallery of Ireland. We looked at one of the famous paintings there which is the Liffey Swim by Jack B. Yeats. It was painted in 1923, three years after the first ever Liffey Swim competition. After discussing the painting we created our own self portraits of swimming under the water.
